TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA TO SPH MEDIA LIMITED

As you may have read in the news, Singapore Press Holdings Limited ("SPH") announced on 6 May 2021 that it will be transferring its media business to SPH Media Limited ("SPH Media") (the "Proposed Restructuring"). The effective date of the Proposed Restructuring is 1 October 2021 (the "Effective Date").

In connection with the Proposed Restructuring, we would like to inform you that:
1. your account, which you may have used to access various apps and products (if any), including any outstanding amount that you owe to SPH and/or its subsidiaries (collectively, the "SPH Group"); and
2. your existing personal data records with the SPH Group, in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Data Protection Act 2012.
  will be or have been transferred to SPH Media.

SPH Media will continue to service your account (if any) from the Effective Date, with no change to the existing terms, or disruption in service.

The purposes for which SPH Media will collect, use and disclose your personal data records will remain unchanged. From the Effective Date, you may refer to the privacy policy set out at readsph.sg/privacy for more information on how SPH Media will handle your personal data records. This privacy policy will apply in respect of your personal data records held by SPH Media with effect from the Effective Date.
